"User cannot report to him or herself."

We use Sugar CRM 6.2.1.

When one of our users wants to change the "Number of Tabs" in the "Layout Options" and clicks on save, a popop appears that says:

ourcompanyname.com
User cannot report to him or herself.

Several others users that have tried it didn't get this error.

What are your suggestions?

We solved the problem. In the table users, the user had his own id set in reports_to. After deleting the id there, it worked.

"Reports to"-Setting in admin-section:

1. admin->User Management
2. select <Username>
3. select "Edit"
4. User profile->Employee information->Reports to

Here you can select another user or clear the existing setting.

I know the location of that setting but my co-worker didn't, so he changed the value in the database =)
