User can't change value of assinged to field in accounts

Hey there,

we have the problem that a certain user can't change the value of the assigned to filed in accounts.

if he wants to assign an account to another person, he selects the person and clicks save. but he only gets the error message
"You do not have access to this area. Contact your site administrator to obtain access."
and gets redirected to his home site.

but this problem only occurs for this user. the other users don'h have that problem! this user and the other users have the same roles.

Does anybody know how to solve that problem??

Hi stefan

Go to Admin -> Role Management
Check if there is any role restricting access to Accounts module only for owner.
Probably the users inside such Role are the ones which can not access some records.

well there is no role resticting access only for owners..
