An odd bug, not sure if anyone else has had this issue, user can't see any leads assigned to themselves, cleared the search, still nothing. Searched for leads owned by them and the list is populated... clearing the search the leads are still there.![]()

All users are doing this since a server move... why would that be?
That was on 5.2, had it happen on 5.5, but the fix isn't working, greattttttttt.
did you run admin>repair>quick repair and rebuild?

Is this working properly for other modules? Do you have any roles set? Are there any fields in the search panel that auto populate, even when you click the clear button (I have seen h? What field is the list view sorted by (I have seen a bug in the past where if you order by certain fields, all the records disappear from the list view)?

Admin account, nothing in search fields.
Nothing.
I can find and click the lead through my "recently viewed". =\
Can't even see new leads created, eek!
Weird, it's only one of the 3 systems I'm running, and all 3 are the same... supposedly.
Edit:
Backing up the config file and re-writing on top of the bad install with one of the good installs fixed it.... WEIRD!![]()

Odd, it keeps breaking itself!
Recopying a working install fixes it, but only for a few days... (we have multiple installs)
Edit:
Of course in installing a new directory, the log file is overwritten, I'll get a log file when it happens again.
Is there a way to do a compare between two directories and see the differences? It's hard to tell WHY this is happening. Obviously it isn't a database or config issues, those are the same when it's fixed or broken.
I can write a cron job to re-copy the working dir into all the broken dirs nightly... >< ugh.
It's also all users on the system.

Happened again, copying "working" copy fixed it, nothing in the logs this time, ugh!
Any other ideas?
Edit:
Whoops, this isn't related to the same issue, this was the user sorting by an unsortable field (custom). Hence you get 0 rows returned, resorting by another row fixes it.
How can I make a field non-sortable in detaillistview.php?

Found a direct cause!
Going to studio shows no custom fields, whoa I have like 25.... adding a field causes them all to show in studio again, however it breaks sugarcrm and I can no longer see leads in any listviews!
What would be causing this?
Basically this is a copy of another install with a new unique id. To reproduce I enter studio and make a change to the (for some reason) blank field list for Leads, all fields are now visible, however Leads can no longer be listed or properly saved, however it seems you can view them, a copy form a "working" directory fixes the problem with the missing leads, but the lead field list it blank again.
When the leads disappear, quick repair and rebuild doesn't fix it.

I can verify this also per this post
By doing this all of the leads disappeared. If they were already showing you could still click there to view them. But under Leads, none appeared. When you tried searching none appeared.
When I viewed this thread I thought to try it, so I deleted the bold part above. And all of the leads show again.
