i am using CE Version 5.5.0a (Build 6659). i need to set up more detailed user roles than the role management allows. i don't want some of the tabs/panels to even be shown to some groups. the more we give them the more overwhelmed they get. is there a module that can accomplish this.

SecuritySuite has a custom layout feature where you can create groups, assign users to the groups, and create custom layouts to show only the fields that those users need to see. There is a 5.5 version to try out and use on SugarForge.
