    Default User unable to view almost all data

    I am having an issue with one of my users, any help would be greatly appreciated as I have exhausted any and all of my ideas, and have not been able to find any threads regarding this issue on the forums.

    He cannot view any leads (his own or anyone’s), can only view 2 accounts (he has 45 assigned to him), 5 contacts (he should be able to see roughly 500) and no opportunities or cases. He IS an administrator.

    I am not exceptionally knowledgeable with php or mysql (teaching myself), so once again, any help on this subject would be most appreciated.

    Operating system: Ubuntu Server 6.06 LTS
    Suigar Suite Version: 4.5.1d
    Webserver Type: Apache2
    PHP Version: [whatever came with sugarCRM]
    MySQL Version: [whatever acme with sugarCRM]

    I don't know what's the initial problem, but what if you create new account for him and then assign all the accounts and contacts that are visible now to this new account?

    Markku - Thank you very much for your attention to my post, it is most appreciated. Your suggestion was one of the last ideas I had before making this thread.

    The only reason I did not implement that solution earlier is because I do not currently know a way to migrate all of his from one username to another quickly.

    Is there an easy way to point all ‘assigned to’ fields from “usernameA” to “usernameB”? Besides mass-updating list views…

    Nope, but as you don't have that many records to process, it should take too long.

    Sidenote: Ken Brill wrote admin tool which allows to delete user and re-assign all his accounts and contacts to new user. Don't know if it is compatible with your Sugar version. You can search Sugarforge for "admin tools" if you want to give it a try.
