Users can assign anyone in user list

SugarCE 5.1.0c

Our soccer club has 5 coaches and use sugar to create tasks, training sessions etc. however we found that a coach can create a task or meeting for a user that they should not be able to. Eg. User 1 should only be able to assign tasks and meetings to users 15 - 25 only and not for everyone. User 2 should only be able to assign tasks and meetings to users 16-26 and so on.

Any help would be much appreciated. Have spent hours trying to use roles and teams security to do this but the assign to list always shows all users in it.

Hello,

by default, a user can create a record and assign it to any other user in the system. To only allow a user to select other users who are in their team only would require customization.

Do you know who could customise this for us and more importantly how much approximately would it cost?

I will talk to the guys and see if they are willing to get it done or search for a different system.

i actually just noticed that you are using CE. So instead of using teams to limit which users you can assign an activity to, this could be customized by Role.
