users under free version

Im running the free version of sugarCRM, I just installed the latest version.

The issue Im having is that I can create additional users with admin rights, but after they are created, they are unable to login to the site.

Is there a limitation on the free version on how many users can login to sugarcrm?
if not what would the issue be?

Im helping a friend who is 1 person business selling products but they want to be able to keep track of clients. I thought this was perfect for them. If they expanded I wanted it so they could add employees and add them as users. I was testing this by adding them as a user, besides the main admin user when the script was installed. but it seems the only user that can login is the admin user and pass which was created at the time of the install.

Hi,

Do you really use CE version?
Did you see some message?

There are no limits on the number of users you can create in the CE version. Make sure you create the user and set the user to "Active".

I have installed SugarCE-5.5.1RC today and have the same problem.
I was unable to create any additonal users.

The creation of staff members was possible and I have also set them as active. After saving the staff member setting for active as deleted.

When I change a staff member to a user, the save link is de-activated and nothing happens - there is also no error message.

any help is more than welcome

PS: I have just found out that there was a problem with the german language version. The US language version worked fine
