Using Fields from a different Module

Hi

I actually want a feild from product module to be used in case module.

.ie. when i create a case in case module i want to associate the cases to the serial no feild which is in product module.

I tried it from the studio but could not find a way of doing it.

Can this be done? if so can someone tell me how to do it.

I am running sugar5.0b.

How is the relationship between you Case and Product?

When creating a Case you can setup a logic_hook before save in Cases, which can persist the field coming from Products.
