I have just upgraded to Sugar Professional, and trying to wrap my head around how the combination of reports + campaign target lists work.
What I want to do is to have an email campaign with dynamic target list (contact-based) assigned to it. (Where "dynamic" means that if the result of a report query changes over the next hours, the target list will be automatically updated to reflect this change.)
Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but my experience so far looks like this:
1) I've created an email campaign and a target list assigned to it
2) I've created a "Rows and Columns" report returning contact's Name and Email Address based on specific filters - let's say that at the moment there are 4 contacts being returned by my report, fulfilling the criteria
3) on target list page, in "Contacts" section, clicked on "Select from Reports" button and selected my report
4) those 4 contacts mentioned in 2) were added to "Contacts" section
5) now, let's say that one of those 4 contacts have changed and no longer meets report criteria (so my report from 2) returns only 3 contacts) - but on target list page I still see all 4 contacts like before (so it was not updated), and the emails gets send to all 4 contacts as well (while it should be send only to 3 of them)
So I guess I'm doing something wrong, as it is not dynamic at all.
Could anyone please shed some light on what should be changed in the process described above to make it work as it should?
