Using Sugar DEFAULT Fields

Is there a possibility to use Sugar DEFAULT Fields in other modules?

Let me give you an example:
ACCOUNTS do have a default field "website". LEADS don't.
I have to get the website into the LEADS.

Searching the forum I found that there is a work around with custom fields.


I can't believe there should be no REAL solution.

Not by default, there is no built in feature to do this.
You need to build it yourself.
