When I create a custom field, where is it defined as the default one are in vardefs.php. Where can I find all my custom fields?

The custom fields definition are set on table fields_meta_data.

The reason I ask is because I am still have alot of issues extending the vardefs for custom files, in that I can't. I had to log a case with Sugar about it.
