VCARD Import German ö,ä,ü,ß stops value

Hello Pros,

I am suffering the following isse.
I import Vcards for leads.
But the fields always brakes when there is a ö,ä,ü,ß in the word.
For Example

Name
Max Muster
City München
.. The Field City only imports "M" not the whole Name of the city.
So the import of the Value always stops by a ö,ä,ü,ß;

Using
Version 5.2.0i (Build 5757) CE,
Anyone knows the issue?

Bei Mein Konto das Feld Import/Export Zeichnesatz auf CP1252 setzen did not work...
also not ISO-8859-1
And CP1251, UTF8..
Is there any Cache to clear?
The Vcards are Okay..

Kind of interesting. This error was gone and seemingly came back. I will check the settings a little later but I believe it's rather hopeless. Stay tuned.

OK, I made it but it's not really a desirable result: I converted the vcf to utf-8, set the import character set to utf-8 and it worked. The original (made with address book in XP) had 8859-15 as character set but setting this one in Sugar didn't lead anywhere.

thank you for testing.

I made 3 different installations in different character set.. (I would have done it, without having the error, too ;-) )
But in every installation I have the same issue...

I Do you have any idea, where I can try to find an error....

I am using the Vcards from Xing Germany...

OK, same procedure. I downloaded one from Xing, opened it, converted it to utf8 and could import it without problems...
