which version to install to customize sugar crm

I am new to sugar crm.I want to kno which version do i install so that i can customize it(modify code etc.).Can i do it with the bitrock version or do i need to install the whole suite apache,php and mysql seperately and then configure sugar crm by installing the latest stable of the release.Can any one help me in this regard.

Hi Prashant,

You can customize Sugar installing any stable version from the Open Source edition.

I have installed the bitrock installer from ten download page which automatically installs apache,php and mysql on the system.For customizing sugarcrm will this installation work fine?
