Which version to Upgrade

Hi all

We have been using SugarCE v5.2 for three years but now we are having problems creating new modules for our business needs with Module Builder. No matter the new module we built nothing gets deployed or published...

That is why we are thinking about an upgrade to a newer version. I have heared lots of good things and bad things about newer versions, which one do you think is the more stable and that you would recomend us to move to? (from 5.2 onwards I mean)

Another question, where can we find a list of differences between releases? Modifications, new features... like a comparation tabe.

It's not a bad idea to upgrade as there a good number of improvements to Sugar but the issue of deploying/publishing your changes is most likely due to a file permission issue. Upgrading may not solve it if that is the case.

I dont know if it is a problem with the file rgihts .We are running SugarCRM CE 5.2 on a Windows XP machine.
I checked out and the folder "sugarcrm" in the httdocs folder of our Apache Server has the mark "Read Only", I have tried to remove it (it seems it worked) but then I checked it again and keeps saying "Read Only".

Any ideas about how to change this folder to "Not Read Only" and all its subfolders?? Do you think this might be the problem?, as I am able to create custom fields to modules already created and to import new packages
