Very odd issue with notes in 5.0.0

Using the notes subpanel under cases I can save notes as an administrator but cannot save as a non-admin member of another group (the group does have the proppper rights). For users there is no error, but also no note after save with or without an attachment - when I try as admin, it works as expected.

All help and suggestions appreciated!!!

Hi dogfuel

1. Try to create a new Note under a Case as a normal user;
2. Take a look at the tile of the file sugarcrm.log in the root of your SugarCRM installation;

It is possible you will find any lines regarding that issue.

If not, try to create a new user (just for testing purpose) and try to reproduce such issue.
It is possible it is a user preference issue.
