Hello, I´m new with Sugar.
The program works fine, but when I have to open and delete emails from the inbox, it takes to much time.
To open an email takes 15 seconds, and to delete 5 emails takes 2 minutes.
I wonder why??

I've seen some pretty slow display/delete times as well, so you're not the only one. Our sales people continually complain about the speed of the Email module. We have an MS Exchange server that I believe is the main culprit of our issue; just a bit too busy. What kind of mail server are you using? IMAP or POP?

Hello, I´m using IMAP
Was installed with an MS 2003 server. But when I saw that was running very slow, I´ve stoped and try installing it alone at my computer, untill I find the solution. I´m happy I´m not the only one, but there must be a reason for this problem. Don´t you think?

We also use sugarmail with imap. When we found that the imap inbox had allot of mail in it, it tended to be slow. by moving the mail into an archive folder on sugar, this freed everything up and it runs really smooth. What I believe happens is, that obviously sugar is trying to download the headers and refresh each time there is an event. Therefore latency occurs when there is allot of mail to process.
Our solution was to ensure mail is properly archived, either into other imap folders, or archives in sugar, or better yet in the customer records and remove the mail completely.
