Default View history - email formatting is horrible

I was hoping that someone can help me out with this. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. Basically, when I click on view history/notes, when the other window pops up, it shows my emails all garbled together. All of the formatting is gone and it literally takes 5 times the size of the normal email that I had sent the customer.
It's a annoyance, nothing wrong with how it works, but it's really annoying the heck out of me when i try to scroll through notes on a customer for over a year.

    Anyone have any ideas? Suggestions?

    I'm on Sugar CE 5.2.0 f

OK ... the history removes all the formatting anyway. And your history file is not very different from ours (except for the white space) ... we're thunderbird and the assertiva plugin but have used outlook and the outlook plugin

However, it looks as if the grinmark plugin is creating a lot of LF + CR ... it might be worth contacting them to see if it's the plugin

Is your Sugar server on Linux?

Moving the Email from Outlook with CR and LF to db on Linux may be giving you an extra line.

If it's exactly double the number of lines, this could be the cause. But if it's more than that, then something is adding blank lines.

I'm curious as we willing shortly be moving emails around, so I may need to handle this.

Added comment: You can copy and paste the text into Microsoft Word (for the version from history and the original) and tell word to show the paragraph marks to quickly see exactly how many CRLF there are in the before and after.
