Way to disable HTML email when mass mailing?

Is there any way to send a mass email in plain, vanilla ASCII text? I really, really don't like that annoying tracking pixel and I'm sure some of my customers feel the same way. Anyone have any idea how to set up mass emails so they ONLY go out in text?

You can do this (finally!) with the latest 4.5.1.

Hooray! I just tested 4.5.1 and it can send plain text email. Much better.
