    Default Way to post global announcement?

    Is there a way for the admin to post a global announcement so that all users can see it upon login?

    Hello,

    the Pro and Ent versions have a Teams dashlet where the admin user can set up messages to appear in the Team dashlet for those users that belong to that Team.

    There is not such function in the CE version. You could modify the default message that appears in the Jotpad by going to modules/Home/Dashlets/JotPadDashlet/JotPadDashlet.en_us_lang.php.

    However, if the user only has one jotpad displayed on their home page and they type something into it, then any message you put there will not be seen.

    With the new 5.2 release, you can post global announcements using the new Sugar Feeds dashlet.
