Default Web-To-Lead Form Lead Assignment Issue

I have a web-to-lead form on my website that was built with the wizard in Sugar. Whenever someone fills it out and submits the form, it creates a lead in Sugar assigned to a certain user.

The issue is as follows: even though the user to whom these leads are being assigned has the "Notify on Assignment" checked in their user profile, they are not receiving emails when new leads are created through the web form and assigned to their username.

Can anyone enlighten me on how to make it so that this user receives emails when leads are created through the web form and assigned to them?

    Thanks!

Go to admin->Configure Email Settings and make sure that Assignment Notifications under Email Options is checked. If that isn't checked, they'll just get an in-Sugar notification, not an email.

    Thanks for your reply Robert.

The box in email notifications was checked.

I'm not getting any notifications for anything that is assigned to a user.

Can you tell me, is this issue with a particular user or all users? I ask because there is, I believe, an outstanding bug that prevents the creator of the web to lead form from receiving email notifications for leads.

Are you using CE or a different flavour?

I made some changes, and now every user receives assignment notification emails when another user manually assigns the lead to them.

The only time users don't receive an assignment notification is when a lead is created from the web-to-lead form.

That's exactly my problem. Are there any solutions so far?

Hello, I have a different issue with SugarCRM's Web to Lead form and unfortunately, couldn't find where to post a new thread. Sorry for posting here.

We are experiencing an error: We are sorry, the server is currently unavailable, please try again later using the post URL https://crm.exist.com/index.php?entr...bToLeadCapture.

Would anybody know the cause of this error?

    We're using VCE Version 6.1.0 (Build 5389).

    Regards,
    Macel
