webtolead.php 5.0 email field

In 5.0 my email field is not being captured in the webtolead.php form

is there anything that can be done to fix this?

I had a similar problem after going from 4.51g to 5.0 ... I found that if I changed the email field from email1 to email2 in the webpage, then it worked fine. I had also tried creating a new webtolead form, but that didn't resolve the problem.

Supposed to be fixed in 5.0a but I have not verified it.

sorry ... bad info. I just used the 'create lead form" and entries do not populate email address. What I am doing to work around it is changing the attached to meet my needs for each new form. Be sure to change the campaign and assigned to coding.
