What is the location of attachments?

hello,

1 month ago we worked with the bug tracker zentrack.
In zentrack you can add a attachment to a bug.
This is possible in sugar but i want to make a conversion of the attachments.
Is this possible?

& another question:

When i make a bug with sugar it is not possible to see immediately the bug number in the edit mode.
Can i change this?

This is true what you are saying eggsurplus, with one correction. The GUID attached to the docs is the revision GUID found in the document_revisions table or the document_revision_id field in the documents table.

The bug number is created on save and increments from the previous bug number. Because of that there would be issues if it would give you a bug number before saving. If two people opened a bug at the same time would they get the same numbers? If they got different numbers what if one decided not to save it or to cancel the bug creation? Does the bug number go back to the start? There would be holes in the sequential ordering of bug numbers at that point. When you save it does go back to the detail view (or subpanel view if adding that way) and you can get the bug number at that point.
