    Default What? No Mass Creating Calls?

    I find it a glaring omission that you cannot mass schedule phone calls from leads or the accounts.

    There are serious lacks in proper integration of Activities features, to the leads and account modules.

    To me a CRM would mean setting leads up for further contact, via calls and appointments quickly, as multiple leads can be assigned to team members. There should be features available to schedule and manipulate calls/appointments en masse, rather than one by one, through the tedious edit function.

    An ajax diven calendar would also be highly desirable.

    even an open source crm that does not have any costs forlicense associated to it needs some time spüent with the tool to understand concpets and how things work. What you are looking for is there (asides the calendar - that is true that this is a pain but there are smart ways to handle that as well) but requires understanding of processes and tools.

    Well I know one issue we run into when writing new code into the CRM:
    How do you "mass manage"? All these appointments have different times, different leads, different statuses and directions, the only thing "mass" we do is attach them to a moved lead when a lead gets reassigned (or a mass of leads).

    With a little bit of code I can create mass create tools for scheduling calls on leads that have no scheduled calls, but how should I choose when to call which leads? An appointment when someone isn't home or a rep isn't at their desk is useless.

    It becomes much more of a management issue and less of a programming one.
