Default What are we doing wrong, noob question....

This may be a usability issue on our end, a permissions issue, a bug....I don't know.

When we click on "Accounts" from the top menu bar, then "Accounts" on the left menu bar, shouldn't we see a list of accounts? I can search for and find an account, but we believe it should be listing the accounts (otherwise, why is there a second "Accounts" button the left bar once you click "Accounts" on the top bar?

Leads, Opportunities, Contacts, Accounts, etc all have this problem for us. I've checked the roles and practically everything is set to "All" except for Delete which is set to "Owner".

    Any help would be great!

Does this happen for all users?

If only specific users are having the problem, try clicking the "Clear" button just below the Search area and see if the problem persists.

I'm pretty sure it's a scripting problem. I've performed a fresh install and now the list is showing up. Before, the list wasn't just "empty", there wasn't even anything on that portion of the page.

Ah, yes, that does sounds like a deeper issue.

Try enabling debug logging (Admin > System Settings) and then check the sugarcrm.log file in the root of your install.

It is like encountering a problem with one of the SQL queries.

Have you tried running the repair options? (Admin > Repair)

    We are fields recently added/removed?
