Hi !
I really don't understand the email system in SugarCRM.
Actually, I created a group user named "support", and I also created an inbound email to take mails for support@ourcompany in this box.
1st question:
I can't see any difference between unread and read mails. Most of mail clients display unread mails in bold fonts, but in SugarCRM, there isn't any difference... WHY ??
2nd question:
I can't see anywhere any possibilities to tie a user with a group user (something like : user "bob" is part of "support" group user). WHY ??
3rd question:
It seems that all the mails for group users arrive in the same "Group Inbox", without any distinction between them (except the "assigned" field). But if there isn't any solution to tie a user to a group user, we can't make those mails appart for end users (like : user "bob" can only see "support" mails in "Group Inbox")...
4th question:
When new unread mails are available in Group Inbox, a user can make a "Take From Group" in his "My Inbox" section. And then, he can "steel" those mails from the Group Inbox !!!! Other users can't see them anymore !
Even if the user has role that specifies he can't list or view mails other than his own mails, he still can make a "Take From Group"![]()
What's the deal with this "Take From Group" function ??![]()
I use Sugar Suite version: OpenSource 4.5.1e (Build 1049)
Thanks a lot for support
