Hi,

Basically, I want to create a case for a grouped user such as "Marketing Team", so that a email is sent to the team to notify them of the new case.

So when I use the portal and create a new case and assign the user as the "Marketing Team", which has been set up as a grouped user, after I save, I go back to the case view screen and it does not show the "Marketing Team" as the Assigned User. Nor does the email notification get created.

I was wondering is this a bug or a feature that I don't know about? PS I am a newbie to SugarCRM (but loving it so far)

I checked the DB and the appropriate userId for that grouped user has been entered for that row, but I don't have an visual confirmation. If I edit the same case, the assigned user field is again blank, even though it has the correct value in the Database row for that case.

Any help would be appreciated.
