Default When you need to Re-Assign a contact

    Hi,

We have Reps that come and go due to different things. Some contacts have alot of attachments, co implementations, contacts, and many entries.

When I change the Assigned to filed, how can it change everything attached to that account? It's taking an insane amount of time to go into each entry for the account to change it.

Not sure what you are need exactly.
Please explain more specifically by giving and example.

When a user leaves, you can reassign all their records or some.
Go to each module, Leads, Contacts, Accounts etc.
Do a search which shows only that user's records.

    Select All the records.

Use the Mass Update function at the button of the List View to re-assign all the checked records at once.
You can page through multiple screens of records and select (check box) all or only the ones you want.
SugarCRM will remember which records you checked, even if you page to the next 10. Kool.

    Hi Amber

You can create a logic_hook before_save on Accounts.
Inside this logic_hook you may check if assigned_user_id had been changed.
So you can retrieve all records related to that account and udpate them accordingly.
There is no automatic function to deal that on CE, but there is something useful on PRO and ENT.
