Where are my custom fields?

Hi. I tried to search for this answer but no luck. I am new to SUGAR and just Imported 100 Companies from a Spreadsheet. Before Importing, I created about a dozen custom fields in Studio and set them up in the Layout of the Acounts tab. Looks great exept there are a number of fields I have to add manually now, just because wouldnt import with them selected to map. I don't mind doing it manually, but when I go to one of the imported Accounts, I see the layout all correct with my custom fields empty. If I hit EDIT though, the custom fields are not there for me to ADD the information I need to add. How do I get the fields that show up in the layout just fine, to show up in the EDIT part for me to enter the information.

I FOUND IT!!!

Took going through the searches on these forums a few pages deeper, but found my answer. The custome fields have to be added to the EDIT layout as well. I did not know this and now can continue my work. Whew, glad passed that road block.
