I'm using Sugar 5.5.2 CE and connecting to an Exchange Server mailbox using IMAP. My inbox on Exchange has a large number of emails in it, meaning Sugar takes a while when I ask it to Synchronize. So using Outlook I created a subfolder of my inbox called SugarCRM and moved a couple of emails there. Over in Sugar I use my mail account settings screen to specify INBOX/SugarCRM as the only folder to monitor.

The Sugar UI correctly only shows that folder, but the progress message about the sync shows the same high count as when I was monitoring INBOX. And when I turn on logging and inspect the output I can see Sugar is fetching headers for every message in INBOX as well as those in INBOX/SugarCRM.

Anyone have a theory why it does this?
