Default Why don't all leads import and no error message?

I have searched the other forum items looking for a complete answer to this question with no luck. I am importing lead lists with approximately 3000 to 7000 rows each.

As an example of the problem (the exact counts vary depending on the size file)...
The import completes and states: 80 records imported successfully, but in the list where I can see the actual records imported there are really 2500 records out of the total of say 3000 imported. There is now 500 missing records that did not import. There is no error for the missing records, there is no error message at all.

    The work-around...
I have to break the files up and create small 500 rows or less files. Once i do this I can load them with no problem.

I have numerous files to import so breaking the files is too time consuming. Can someone give a complete instruction on how to setup the Linux server and other Sugar settings so I can import more than 500 records at a time?

The server I am using is dedicated to SugarCRM and I have complete control of the settings.

What version of Sugar are you on?

Generally importing errors come about because the CSV or file being imported has not been properly prepped causing errors. You should see the errors but that could be another issue.

Here are a few links that tell you more about importing

Hi Josh we are using Version 5.2.0f (Build 5688) . The files import with no problem if I break them into smaller sizes. For example one file I broke up had 4500 plus records and when I broke it up I was able to load every single record. There is some sort of bug because even if it's a memory issue or something like that it reports only 80 or 85 records successfully loaded when in fact over 2000 are imported. Of course like I said in the original post it does not import the other 1500.
