Are you using Pro/Ent or CE? If you are using Pro or Ent, then check the team that is assigned to those records. If it is assigning to your personal team, then they will not be able to see it.
If you are using CE, can you be more specific as to which version you are using?

Yes I do, and I want all users to see all contacts and docs of all other users.
I've done a mass update to all users to grant them admin rights and then they can see everything but how do I set it up so they can see everything and do not have access to admin?

Does any user are able to see the Contacts/Documents or nobody can see?
Does the ListView is empty for both modules?
Did you install any package/upgrade patch?
Did you customize your system by hand?
Did you install any Teams in CE, like CE Teams or Security Suite?

- Nobody can see anything except when granted admin rights.
- The ListView is fine, nothing would show in admin view either if it was not but I checked it
- It's a new install of 5.2 but I did add Teams for CE, Forum (which does not work), chat, password recovery and login tracking
- The only customization I've done is adding a dropdown in contacts.
Hmm, is the Team security configured? can you verify which team the records are being assigned to? And verify which teams your users belong to? Since admin users can view all records, and your users can only view them when they are being granted admin privileges, it definitely sounds like something is going on with the Teams.

Yes, it was working before these add ons.
So far I have 1 team that regroups every users including the admin.
All modules are enabled for that team, is that what you call team security?
Suddenly, I seem to be having the same problem. My users are reporting that they can't see accounts already entered. I've checked permissions, all enabled. Had Teams enabled, disabled it. Seems to have occurred after the upgrade to 5.2c, but it may not, as it's been 2 weeks since I did the upgrade (not a high traffic server as yet). Any ideas?
