wierd email campaign error in log

This is in my sugarcrm log and a whole bunch of my campaign emails havent sent, they say "checked" with a send attempt of 1. trying to resend does nothing.
any ideas if the below error is related? thank YOU!

i found this solution that worked!

i am curious though: my emails are set to batch at 30

there were 32 unsent marked as "check"
i upped my batch to 40 and ran this script but 10 still didnt send, so had to rerun the script and send the rest.

i would like to know what i should be doing to avoid this.

if it helps i manually push out my mail queue by doing send now a bunch of times as i like to see them go out with my own eyes.
i have used various numbers with my email provider and all well within their max limit of 500 at once (im usually in the 50 or less at a time range

Also, ensure the php settings that the cron job is using has a max_execution_time set high enough... php may be killing the script. (Sometimes the command line php uses a different php.ini file than the web server...)
