    Default Wildcard

I know this is a lame question but.

How do I do a search that will find anything in a field, what wildcards do I use?

In other words I want to extract all the items from the database that have something written in the selected field e.g.
Example 1. I have a custom field that has a drop down list of some 5 various meetings that contacts have attended, and I would like to know which contacts have attended a meeting, I'm not concerned what meeting they attended, the search results would obviously tell me that.

Example 2. I need to find all records that haven't got anything in the postcode/zip field. Or for that that matter any other field.

    Thanks in advance IGM

    Default Re: Wildcard

SugarCRM accepts "%" as a wildcard. In some cases it adds it automatically at the end of the string.
