word cannot start the converter mswrd632.wpc

I'm running Sugar 5.1 on MSSQL 2005 and IIS7.0

Up until just reciently (two or three weeks), any document (doc, docx, xls, xlsx) that I have had in the documents module would open fine if I click on the document and said to open (or even save the documetn locally on my computer and open it). Now I'm getting this cute message "word cannot start the converter mswrd632.wpc" (xls and xlsx documents just open garbaled)

I tried removing 973904 on my local machine and also performed two other tricks as suggested by microsoft as well such as deleting MSWord6.wpc from one of the regkeys and to add a regkey.

Has anyone ran into this issue? Ironically all local files open fine, this issue is only showing up with documents in the documents module and if I click on an attachment that I added as a note to someone's account.



NOTE: I checked the server, there have been no updates applied since November, so the December 8/9th updates from Microsoft isn't the issue in this case.
