    Default workflow alert emails

    i'm using 2.5.1 pro, i set up an email alert on new lead records on module change to send an alert email to all the members in a team. the idea being that when a lead is captured from the web form we're all alerted, not just the user its assigned to.

    but whats happening is everyone in the team gets 2 duplicate email alerts 9and the assigned member of course a 3rd assignment email), and further, the alert template is only populating the non-custom fields in it. all the _c fields are coming up blank.

    is this known behavior? can someone point me in the right direction to clean this up?

    We are also getting duplicate alert emails when a workflow is processed, it also duplicates actions so i get two tasks created as well.

    Have searched the forums and cannot find any info on this, i have checked the schedule and checked there is not more than one cron job setup.

    I wanted to give this a little bump. We are using 5.0GA and every workflow alert/action duplicates itself. I logged on to the online Demo and the same thing happened. Any thoughts?

    I found two bugs associated with this problem.
    17642, found in Pro 4.5.1b was to be fixed with a 4.5.1b patch. No resolution, status is still New.
    19857, found in Pro 5.0.0a, scheduled to be fixed in the Colombia release.
    Although this last one is associated with 'Quotes', I hope it fixes all duplicate workflow alert messages. I now get the same message four times!

    Has this been fixed?

    I to am seeing workflow alerts sent mulitple times, usually within around 15 mins of each other.

    My alerts also leave a note on a contact when the workflow is executed and those are also being created. So it seems to me the workflow is executing itself more than once.
