Workflow field inserts

I created a workflow template and things get emailed - however the imbed field markers ({:ast::Accounts::name::} ) are not rendering to their values - i just get the {:ast::Accounts::name::} text
- no account name.

is this a bug?

figured it out. after studying /includes/workflow/alert_utils.php I see that field replacement is really limited...(full_name?)

anyway, changed the alert_utils.php to call a custom php to do a bunch of str_replace on the email body.
