Workflow, where does the alert appear?

I defined a workflow with Workflow Management, i defined an action and an alert,
the action worked right, but i can't see any alert.
I selected the option "invite" and selected myself as an invited user, (because i don't want to receive emails), but in my meeting i don't have any invitation.
Where does the alert appear?
