xmpp integration

Hi all,

I'd like Sugar to send IM notifications via xmpp to my company XMPP server...
Is it possible?

Possible, yes, but not via any built-in functionality. I am not aware of any pre-packaged solutions either, which means you'd have to code that integration from scratch.

By the way, is there a plan to implement this in the future releases?
(it may happen that i'll try to do it myself, but not now).

I haven't heard of anything along those lines.

If you do it, you might want to give the Sugar Feeds feature a look and also logic hooks. Sugar Feeds is a variation of what you are wanting to do and logic hooks allow you to run your own code when certain conditions are met on a record (or always).
