    Default Yet another logo thread...

Ok, I've searched the forums and done all the "fixes" I could find to no avail... still can't display a custom logo in the upper left corner, so any suggestions are welcome!

    Here is my setup:

SugarCRM Community Edition version 5.1.0a (Build 4837) (downloaded and installed this morning!)
    Hosted environment running Linux

My logo is a .png 212x40 pixels file.

    So far I have:

    - Uploaded a new logo using the SugarCRM Admin>System Settings tool, didn't work
    - FTPed my logo to the include/images directory and renamed it company_logo.png
    - CHMOD the company_logo.png to 777
    - CHMOD the images directory to 777
    - CHMOD the include directory to 777
    - Re-uploaded my logo file (using SugarCRM Admin.System settings)
    - Changed themes

    Still no dice.

This is not a browser cache issue as I am trying this on both Firefox and Internet Explorer after wiping the cache on both...

    Aaaaaaaaaaaarg!

Is it that nothing is showing or that it remains as the original sugarcrm logo?

On a related note, does Studio work fine for you? It also requires the ability to write to the file system as the logo upload process does.

when you upload the file from the admin it uploads it to /custom/themes/name of template/images

what I did was deleted the image which is there after it is uploaded and then uploaded the new logo

renaming it company_logo.png to /themes/name of your theme/images

don't know why but it worked for me

    makes sense?

I should have mentioned that... I get an image not found where the logo should be (the small broken image icon on Firefox and the small red X in IE).

Studio works great so far (well, with the usual bug in the one to many relationship stuff for new modules).

It is very important that the chmod starts in the directory the Sugar root directory is contained.

So the chmod -R 755 must be applied on the sugar root dir itself not on any part of it.
