Zimbra + SugarCRM

hi i installed the SugarCRM open source with MySQL in Fedora Core5.

But now i want to work on Zimbra Database with SugarCRM opensource.

But, i dont jnow how to install the Zimbra database in linux
pls tell me how to install Zimbra Database and how to link the Zimbra Database and SugraCRM.

This is not a simple task, not sure if its even a possible task. The first thing to do is get Zimbra installed, for that you should ask on the Zimbra website. As for merging the two I don't think anyone has done that yet as it would take months of programming and learning the API of both Zimbra and Sugar and writing a connector to make them talk to each other.

If you can't install Zimbra on Linux, this may be a task that might be a little above you. It's kinda like linking Apple's iTunes to Microsoft's Excel. Just two different pieces of software that could talk to each other as soon as someone spends the time to write the code.

There has been some talk of a Zimbra + Sugar integration... you can check out the discussion thread here. It looks like some community members have started work on an integration.
