    Default ZIP Error(0): Status(0):

    Hi,

    I'm fairly new to sugarcrm support, but i've just tried to upgrade from 6.2.0RC2 to the newly released 6.2.0RC3 and am getting the error message;


    ZIP Error(0): Status(0): Arhive(/var/www/sugarcrm/cache/upload/SugarCE-6.2.0RC3.zip): Directory(/var/www/sugarcrm/cache/upload/upgrades/temp/6UTok4)

    Has anyone else experienced this? It looks like the files are getting onto the server, but stopping at that point.

    Until I upgraded from 5.1.5 (in an attempt to fix the html bug) uploading was fine, however things aren't too good now!

    This error occurs when packed module files are in additional folder. Try unpack module and zip only files inside.

    Hello,
    have you put 777 permission to your Sugar directory recursively before doing upgrade.
    may be it be a permission problems.

    I'm not sure I completely understand, If I unpack them then I can't upload them, or are you suggesting uploading them manually?

    The permissions set are those at installation. We've upgraded three times before, with no problem. I guess it's possible the last upgrade changed permissions?

    We fixed the issue in 6.2.1 whereby deploying modules was having this issue. The crux of the problem is that if you have ZipArchive enabled in your instance then it will use that to zip and unzip and it does not like when you include '.' and '..' in the archive. This is addressed in 6.2.1

    This error is happening still in 6.2.1 I was able to upload modules and install fine last night, but now it will not allow it to happen.

    What had changed from last night?
    Did you upgrade your instance to 6.2.1 last night or did you do anything else?

    No, this was a fresh install. This is happening with a couple different modules (email to sugar and another less important) but then other modules install with no issue. It's almost if there is a corruption issue with some modules.
