Default zucker report + Sugar Crm = can't upload

    hello all,

I am trying to install zucker report CE 1.7 corrected on my Sugar CRM 4.5.1b
I am using win xp sp2 + easyphp to run Apache + mysql
I have installed" j2sdk-1_4_2_14-windows-i586-p" (which is the java program that I belive Zucker Reports needs)

I have no problem launching/browsing SugarCRM on my local server.
When I try to upload Zucker Report using the Module installer in the Admin panel I dont make it to the "commit" button as shown in the Zucker Report manual.

I have already changed my php.ini and restarted my server:
uploads are enabled and max file size I can upload is now 40mo instead of 8mo
I have also changed the whole SugarCRM directories from "read only" to "read/write" (I just unchecked the "read only" box in my win xp files explorer and applied the setting to all subfolders including metadata)

    so far: I am unsuccessful.
I have tried searching the forum before posting but it seems I am not the only one with this problem but not one came up with the solution so far (or at least shared)

I hope I have given enough info for some of you to give me a hand here as it is a pain that it doesnt work...
let me know if you need further info...

Thanks for your time and kind help!
    Alex

    hello,

I found the solution. actually the manual helps for that... the thing is it is not clear what you have to do (need a step by step explanation)

    - unpack the zip file
    - remove the Jasper folder from "Zuckerreport"
    - zip all the files (the file should be around 800k)
    - go to the upload manager and upload

the manuals misses a few steps:
    unpack, remove, repack...

changing the php.ini didnt change a thing for me...

    Here is my case:
    (winxp,wamp 2.0,sugar 4.5.1.h,zuckerreports 1.8,Java 1.6)

I Install a new sugar with new usr & db. Everything ok.
After that, I upload & install the module zuckerreports 1.8

Now I got the error messages:
    Including: C:\wamp\www\sugar\cache\upload\upgrades\temp\53.tm p/scripts/post_install.php
Notice: Undefined index: type in C:\wamp\www\sugar\data\SugarBean.php on line 1016

After that, if I go to a zuckerreports/new listing template I get:
Notice: Undefined index: ERROR_MSG in C:\wamp\www\sugar\modules\ZuckerListingTemplate\Ed itView.php on line 72
Notice: Undefined variable: name in C:\wamp\www\sugar\modules\ZuckerListingTemplate\Ed itView.php on line 74

Notice: Undefined variable: filtertype in C:\wamp\www\sugar\modules\ZuckerListingTemplate\Ed itView.php on line 103

Curious fact is than both are new implementations.

Hi I solve this problem. I edit the variable post_max_size = 1024M and upload_max_filesize = 1000M in my php.ini, Restart the server and finish.

I tried this and I get the following message

The zip file is missing a manifest.php file. Cannot proceed

    Any ideas

    I'm using Version 4.5.1h (Build 1104) , zucker reports 1.8

Maybe you've zipped whole directory? Check if your zip containes only ZuckerReports directories and files

I had the same problem and I received the message stating:

"The zip file is missing a manifest.php file. Cannot proceed"

In order to correct this issue, make sure you are zipping up the contents of the folder only. In other words when you open up the zip file that you created, make sure you see all of your folders and files in the root and not one single folder. You have to be be able to see the manifest inside of the root of your zip.
