Default Zucker reports with 5.5.1 RC1

Hi, I started with Sugar CRM at the start of the year, very impressed so far.

I installed 5.5.1 RC1 - (just as a note I did not realise the difference with the versions. I guess I should have installed a GA)

I would like to try out the Zucker Reports but this would not install. Would be grateful to hear if any others have thisworking, or any suggestions.

    Thanks,

HI..I need more information...were are you stuck?

    Some thing to try are:

+ open your php.ini and increase the maximum filesize for upload to 20M and restart apache afterwards
+ Unzip the zuckerreport. Change the manifest in order to accept you sugar version. Then you'll need to re-zip the folder containing the module files and try to install from tha

    Hope you find this useful!

Thanks, I have this working now, with your hints, and also removing Jasper Reports.

When I put Jasper Reports back in place, do I need to run any additional commands ?

    Thx,

I just tried that on SugarCRM 5.5.1-RC2. I even put max filesize for upload (upload_max_filesize) to 60M, but the result is the same: I can't install ZuckerReports 1.11. It just finish by showing the list of installed modules, but without any trace of ZuckerReports.

    Any other tip?

P.S. Even if I start the browser locally, it takes forever to upload this particular module

I had the same problem (nothing displayed in the modules list after the upload).

I had to also increase the "post_max_size" value in my php.ini file for the upload to work.
I put the same value as in "upload_max_filesize" ie 50M.

Download the manual from Sugar Exchange. It explains exactly how to handle all these install issues.

I must be being really thick, but I can't see any manual part from a $50 one.

Please can you post a link?

    Thanks, Rick

Wow, It used to be there as a free download. Apparently when they updated for 5.5 they made the manual a chargable item. Interesting strategy. I guess we'll have to live with the archived instructions from old forum posts or buy the manual.

There are a large number of forum discussions on this. This link might help you get started. It also has a link to a SugarForge Forum discussing install.
