    Default Cannot track email opens and clickthroughs

    I sent out several email test messages, opened them up, and clicked on the link. When i view the email settings, it does not show that the email sent was opened or clicked on. I was told this is a bug. Have others experienced this issue? Any way to resolve or is this simply a bug?

    This is not a bug, but at the same time, you haven't provided sufficient detail to troubleshoot the problem.

    I take it you inserted the tracker links into the e-mail, if not, that would be one reason why it wouldn't work.

    Another reason would be if the IP address tied to those links is not a routable address or not accessible to the outside world.

    do i need to add tracker links to tracker links to track email opens? i had not added a tracker url. i am using 5.2 professional. any more info needed?

    Is your webserver on the outside of your network or inside? If you need a vpn connection to reach Sugar you will not get back any info
