Daily Newsletter Campaign?

Hi guys, there's no way to have a daily newsletter campaign with sugar? There's also someway to add through some php code email addresses to subscription lists?

Hello,

from your screenshot, your campaign is of type newsletter. once you save this screen, you should be brought to a new screen where there are 3 sections:
Target Lists
Tracker URL
Email Marketing

Under Target List, you will want to add Contacts or Leads to the Subscription list. These are the people who will receive your newsletter. You can also add someone to a newsletter by clicking on the 'Manage Subscriptions' button in the Contact or Lead detail view.

Oh maybe I didn't explain my 2 needs:

1 - I would like to have a form in my website where my users can add their email directly to the subscribers lists of a campaign

2 - I would like to send a DAILY newsletter.

are this 2 things possible?

that definitely helps explain things a bit more.

1 - I would like to have a form in my website where my users can add their email directly to the subscribers lists of a campaign

You can use web to lead functionality which will create a new lead in your CRM when the form is filled out. There is no out of the box Sugar option to auto add this new lead to a campaign newsletter. This would need to be customized in the code. We have done something similar for one of our clients, if this is something you are interested in, please contact Ray Stoeckicht at rays@intelestream.net.

2 - I would like to send a DAILY newslette

The Frequency dropdown is just a dropdown field for internal purposed and you can add 'Daily' into this dropdown in Studio. The name of the field is 'newsletter_frequency_dom'. In order to send out the newsletter, you need to create the new email marketing item and click the send button. So regardless of what the value of this dropdown is, you can set up and send out as many emails to the Target list as you want.

Hi Alek,

You can create an email template which you can re-use for the different email marketing items.

Or you can click into the 1st email marketing item and just hit the Duplicate button. This will duplicate all of your information from the email marketing, including the selected email template. If you have any modifications, can make them and click save.

However, once you save this, you will still need to click the Send Emails button and select the appropriate email marketing item to send.

So I neeed to duplicate template for 365 days if I have a daily newsletter.
Strange is a common thing a daily newsletter i thought that sugarcrm has something where I can say "use this template and send it every day at this hour"
