email drip email marketing campaign

saw a question from a few years ago, but no definitive answer. So wanted to see if anything has changed since then.

essentially what we want to do is (taken from a past post)
-A lead comes in and they are entered onto a list.
-Once entered onto that list I want them to receive a sequence of N emails spaced X days apart. Since leads will be entered on the list on different dates each entry will be at a different stage of receiving the email sequence.
-And not neccessary, but would be nice When the sequence is completed, no more emails would be sent to that lead, or the last entry in the sequence would be to move them to a different list which would perhaps have a different email frequency.

wanted to know can this be done
1. as a existing feature of sugar pro?
2. if not, is there a plug in that does this
3. and if not I assume we can customize this feature?

we tried doing this in a workflow but cannot get it done. any help will be appreciated, and if anyone can help set it up via remote access or over the phone, willing to pay for the consultation.

Hello,

1) Such specific feature is not available in sugar.
2) I guess no such plug-in is available.
3) Yes, it is possible via customized script.

Are you serious? Sugar doesn't do DRIP?

Not having DRIP seems like a HUGE hole.

I believe pardot which can integrate with sugarcrm can do drip marketing. They're pricey though $1000/month.

Sugar DOES do DRIP marketing with our cloud based email marketing plug in (inBOX25). We're Sugar certified, we're on the Sugar Exchange too. You can also go to our website www.inbox25.com and get a FREE account. The integration literally takes about 2 minutes to complete. Enjoy!

I'm just evaluating Sugar Community as a replacement for ACT!, so I'm no expert, but have you looked at this?

I did a Google Search on Sugar CRM Drip Marketing and came up with several consulting companies that say they have a solution as well, but nothing really sold as a product.
