Emails not going with scheduler

I am using 5.2 CE and am having frustrating issues with sending email campaigns.

I can send email campaigns as long as i manually hit send in the email queue. Whenever the scheduler attempts to send campaign emails it freezes after 2-3 emails.
I am sending batches of 500 and when I manually hit send in the email queue they send in seconds.

Scheduler is processing bounced emails fine.

It wouldn't be of any great concern except my email list has grown to over 12,000.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have sugar installed on shared hosting and working fine besides this problem

Did you configure your system in order to automatically trigger the cron.php on your SugarCRM instance?

Yes I did. Cron.php is getting triggered. Bounced emails are being imported automatically through the scheduler. Send emails gets started but stops after sending 2-3 emails. When I check the email que the first 2-3 emails are in process. They stay like that indefinately. When I manually hit send on the email queue they all go

I am still having this issue. It is rather frustrating. now holding up my campaigns as I am having to manually send each hour. Frustration is growing each hour on having to manually send.
To top it off my web host has a 500 email hr limit- not a problem. But they are unable to tell me when this limit resets. I sent 2 batches of 490 emails out 1.5hrs apart only to get the second lot back due to exceeding the hourly email limit.

PLease help with getting emails to go automatically. I have cron configured to launch automatically. I have send emails set up in scheduler. Bounce handling is working from within scheduler.
