How to follow a telesales campaign ? (Marking Targets as contacted)

Hi,

After creating a non-email-based campaign, I have found no way to filter target: (contacted targets, remaining targets, statuses).

The only thing I've found, is the number of converted Targets into leads.

Any hints to follow-up a non-email campaign?

I too am having trouble trying to develop the optimal process flow for telesales campaigns. Any help our advice from someone in the community that has been there and done that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I've been working with a telesales lead generation company for the last year implementing dozens of SugarCRM instances to track their clients campaigns so I have had to tackled this problem.

The best way which we found to track the number of calls held by agent, targets contacted, targets to follow up, targets to be contacted etc was to add a few custom fields and then write a external PHP based reporting suite that links to the database. We then have the option of integrating back into Sugar via a dashlet or, as a standalone website / report that we provide client access to.

I'd be happy to talk though how we've done this.

The only thing I can suggest is a custom field which you add to the advanced search from the Studio - so for example, a target stage field with not contacted, attempted to contact, spoken to decision maker etc. This isn't going to link back to the campaign though, only the target list.
