The lead creation form should not be in campaign management

I have recently created a lead creation form for my website. Because this feature is located under the campaigns tab, I was under the impression that this form would automatically add users to a target list of the campaign I assigned to the form. This is not the case. When leads submit their information via the form, they are properly recorded as leads in sugar as part of the campaign I assigned them to. However, I have no control over these users via the campaign module! I do not understand why lead creation form is located in campaigns if the leads generated cannot be manipulated within the campaigns module.

You might wonder why I dont do a custom search in leads and sort by campaign, then add these users to my campaign manually. I am not interested in doing that every month, I was under the impression that this would be automatic.

Can someone tell me if there is a better way or if I am doing this wrong. I would appreciate it.

I feel your pain, believe me I do. I'm a Sugar noob, and I'm just getting acquainted with the modules and api myself. But... good news, with a simple customization, I figured out how to assign a web lead to a target list.
