Limiting Leads

Hi,
I have a question on how can I limit the viewing of leads to only those assigned to a particular user.
There is a check box in CRM that allows that on the search - I'd like to have that on permanently
so my marketing company can't see other leads than those assigned to them only...

is that possible?

Hi

In version 4.2 of SugarCRM you have the option to create roles with different authorities. One of the authorities available is to only allow a certain role to see 'Leads" or other entities that are assigned to them. To achieve what you want to do, you would need to create a role with that limited authority, and assign that role to your marketing company users.
